Last month, we did not have regular monthly meeting at Chief 's House. We had to take care newly purchased Black Pine, which we purchased at Camarillo Nursery and paid back by JACC (Japanese American Community Center). As I already reported in August report, moving big pine tree from delivered truck to JACC ground and planting on the proper ground was very hard job and everybody involved in this effort worked hard but succeeded safely.
Now we have to shape this JACC pine tree to proper beautiful shape, which was projected as next week voluntary job at JACC yard on September 29, 5th Sunday at 8:00 AM. Master Kimura-sensei already purchased necessary goods. This will be important chance to learn shaping of big pine tree.
Now back to our monthly meeting.
Members gathered on September 22 was small, just total of Nine. There were other events some members had to attend and also some important member was sick in bed. So, we enjoyed quiet Bonsai work shop and gorgeous luncheon prepared by president's wife.
Today I brought only one small pot, so I had time to chatter with president's wife and daughter about psychic phenomenon and other various talks such as evil spirits roaming the world, possession, Reiki, Psychic energy and people who have enormous mental power to control any disease including cancer.
I talked about Irish psychic & mystic Mrs. Lorna Byrne, about whose books I read several already. Lorna Byrne is not a learned person but she is already world famous as spiritual mystic. She talks naturally, so we have to believe what she wrote - every person has one protective angel and there are so any Angels around the people and they don't interfere with people unless people ask themselves, because there is a rule of Free Will. They (Angels) respect our Free Will. So, even at dying time because of accidents, they don't help and let people die of their own will. As I introduced in my Blog , sometimes victims asked help and unbelievable happened. Read some of my blog essays, if interested.
Anyway, we talked about next week's JACC Pine Tree shaping project and advises volunteers to bring their own soft drinks. And we also have to spray insecticide such as Malathion to the other pine trees we trimmed in August.
We also talked about Wire buying trip to near Victorville soon we will have, almost over 1 hour trip.
Next regular meeting will be October 27, 4th Sunday at Chief's residence.

9月の盆栽クラブ会合は22日、第4日曜日にチーフ宅で開かれました。今回の参加者は9名でした。ほかの会合と重なったり、病気であったりというわけで、久々に少ない人数でもたれましたが、おかげさまで、会長夫人が用意されたLuncheonをみんなでたっぷり頂けることになりました。サンキュー。
8月は24日、25日とJACC YardへのBlack Pine Treeの植樹で大変な作業となりましたが、クラブメンバーならびにJACC Volunteerのヘルプで無事植樹をおえることができました。そして、来週、29日の日曜日、朝8時、JACC Parkingに集合して、今度は大事な松の枝の型づくり作業を実施することになりました。以前、何十年かまえにも盆栽クラブメンバー全員が参加して、ヘルプするだけでなく、Big Treeの成型技術を学んだという話です。今回は有志の参加で大事な成型作業を行い、同時に、8月にTrimしたほかの松に殺虫剤をSprayする予定です。
この29日の作業に対してはJACCのサービスを予定していないので、参加者は自分でDrinksを持参するように心がけてください。
