　SFV Bonsai Club　regular monthly meeting was held on February 27, 4th Sunday at 9:00AM and ended at after 1:00 PM.

   It was very successful meeting. Active members joined in this meeting counted number 15 and there were guest observer and others.

   It was beautiful day. In this area at Thousand Oaks, there are no smog and very quiet. We felt lucky to have this kind of meeting in this place. With big yard and clear space, we enjoyed working on our own Bonsai.

    Because of Covid-19 and Omicron threat, we heard that JACC / Honganji temple might not have Obon Festival this summer. This means no Bonsai Show. We feel sorry for this decision if no Bonsai Show this summer, but of course JACC and Temple must be careful against any threat by Covid19 & Omicron.

   But we will work our own Bonsai regardless of Bonsai Show or not. Bonsai club activities are very healthy and very enjoyable, working outdoor in the beautiful surroundings.

    Next month meeting will be held on March 27, 4th Sunday.

   We have great teachers ready to show any new comers -whoever interested in Bonsai art and we charged $75 annually for keeping place for this kind of activities.

   I believe Bonsai making is truly healthy, enjoyable, pleasant activities anybody could enjoy.

　SFV Bonsai Club　月例会はいつもの通り、Thousand Oaksにある会長宅の裏庭で開かれました。２月２７日　第４日曜日の参加者は、一人参加できなかったメンバーをのぞいて、１５名が集い、それぞれ持ち込んだ自分の盆栽にたいして先生方の指導を受けながら、気持ちの良い、屋外での活動を楽しみました。強風が何日かつづいて心配しましたが、この日は素晴らしい晴天で、周りの山も緑できれいで、気持ち良い環境の中、それぞれの盆栽活動を楽しみました。メンバーの一人は自分の在庫と言えるTanuki用の材料を無料で提供されたりして、まさにVolunteer精神が充溢した健全な会合ぶりを発揮し、素晴らしい会合となりました。

　いつものように会長宅ではスナックが用意され、そしてメンバーの中にもドーナツを提供された方もいて、参加者全員、作業後のスナックをエンジョイし、会話も弾みました。会長のご家族の皆さんにはいつも大変お世話になり、盆栽クラブ　メンバー全員、感謝しています。Thank you so much.！

　次回は３月２７日、第４日曜日、同じくThousand Oaksの会長宅で開かれます。
