Sierra Nevada East in California has many lakes.
We often visited Mammoth Lakes area.
Largest lake in Sierra Nevada is Lake Tahoe and then Mono Lake.
But around Mammoth, there are many nice small lakes.
June Lakes, Mammoth Lakes (more than 5, I think), Convict Lake, Lake Sabrina etc...
Here is some of the lakes mentioned above, mainly of Mammoths'.
I like forest, lake, river, mountains, waterfalls, meadow and hot springs ...
Here in East Sierra Nevada, everything (including many Hot Springs) exists for us to appreciate and we visited many times these fine natural landscape and enjoyed a lot.
We often stayed in Mammoth, one night or two nights. And we visited Yosemite National Park from Tioga Pass, or visited Mono Lake. There are many places to explore in East Sierra Nevada.
